Our market celebrates holistic living and the BIPOC community of San Diego. Vendors identify with community values, fresh produce, and principled products for mind, body, and spirit.

Farmers of All Types
Local farmers growing fresh produce, herbs, specialty crops, and more. Certified California Farmers' Market — we welcome all varieties of agricultural vendors.
Priority Need
Bread & Baked Goods
Artisan bakers, sourdough makers, pastry vendors, and cottage food producers. Bring your handmade goods to a community that values real, wholesome food.

Mushroom Growers
Specialty and medicinal mushroom growers are especially encouraged to apply. We're building a diverse, health-focused marketplace with hard-to-find products.

Jewelry, clothing, wood carvings, soft goods, and handmade crafts. Items must be described in your application — photos of your work are required.

Requirements

What you'll
need to apply

We require all vendors to have the necessary documentation to participate. If you're unfamiliar with permitting requirements, our Become a Vendor course will walk you through everything step by step.

TFF Permit (Food Vendors)
Food vendors must have a Temporary Food Facility (TFF) permit issued by the County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health. Also required: a copy of Packaging Permit if selling prepackaged goods.

California Sales Tax Number
Non-food vendors (artisans, craftspeople, retail goods) must provide a valid California Sales Tax (Seller's Permit) number issued by the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration.

Liability Insurance
All vendors must carry general liability insurance naming the ASCENDKemet Collective Farmers' Market as an additional insured. This is required for all vendor types and market locations.

Photos of Your Products
All applicants must submit photos of their products or links to social media showcasing their work. You may only sell items described in your application — applications without photos will not be reviewed.

How to Apply

Your path to
becoming a vendor

The market manager will review your application and contact you if selected. Here's what to expect.

Fill Out the Application
Complete the Artist and Vendor Application Form & Agreement below. Include your contact info, product descriptions, and confirm which market location(s) you're applying for.

Attach Your Documents
Include photos of your products or links to social media. Food vendors attach TFF permit and insurance; artisan vendors attach California Sales Tax number and insurance.

Wait for Review
Your application is individually reviewed. The market manager will reach out if you're selected. Availability is limited in certain categories — apply early.
4
Join the Market
Once approved, you'll receive your booth details and market guidelines. Set up begins at 9:00 AM on Saturdays. We look forward to hosting you!
