The Curriculum

Designing From Whiteness to Oneness™ is a curriculum helping learners critically and consciously engage in dialogue through presentations, storytelling, and sensory awareness. Using KOS (Knowledge of Self) tools and frameworks, it creates a dialogical process of learning that motivates transformation.

Our goal is to empower Black communities to solve problems through deep discovery and discussion of Anti-Black structures — exploring the oppressor and oppressed model, and how it continually dehumanizes communities without sufficient support or a seat at the table.

What is Whiteness?

Whiteness represents the anti-thesis caste system we find ourselves in — a structure of imposed hierarchy, colonialist imposition, and the Anti-Black dialogue that has prompted civil rights movements. The oppressed internalize their position and, through historical structures, are made to strive toward becoming oppressors — creating an unending cycle only Blacks can lead with proper support.

What is Oneness?

Oneness can be demonstrated by those in solidarity with highly melanated Black bodies, but must come from the oppressed themselves. True generosity lies in striving so that hands need to be extended less in supplication — so that more and more they become human hands which work and, working, transform the world.

Topics We Explore

Building critical
consciousness

These materials are the foundation of the organization. Each topic is woven into all programming — from healing sessions to yoga, environmental programs, and community organizing.

Knowledge of Self & Earth

Deep exploration of ancestral identity, melanated heritage, and the relationship between Black bodies and the natural world.

Oppressor & Oppressed

Critical study of how oppressive systems operate, how they are internalized, and how both oppressor and oppressed can begin to break the cycle.

History & Culture

Understanding how things came to be — from colonial imposition to modern Anti-Black structures — so that communities can chart paths forward.

Socialization & Power

Examining the Cycle of Socialization and how political power is distributed, maintained, and challenged within communities.

Leadership & Accountability

Developing the influence, initiative, and accountability structures needed to hold leaders responsible and reinforce systemic change.

Rebuilding Solidarity

Dismantling structures of division and developing a new culture through community partnerships, youth engagement, and collective care.

Our Framework

The tools we
teach with

We teach this curriculum through workshops, retreats, yoga sessions, healing sessions, and environmental programs — incorporating KOS, Melanin-ology, and Ancestral knowledge as integrated learning tools.

KOS — Knowledge of Self

Our core framework providing the tools and vocabulary to attune to higher frequencies via ancient Ancestral applied knowledge. KOS guides participants to affect change in their own communities by instilling urgency, self-awareness, and a process of critical discovery.

KOS-Melanin-ology™

Science-informed exploration of Melanin's role in the human body, African heritage, and spiritual practice.

Storytelling & Dialogue

Structured storytelling, presentations, and sensory awareness exercises to open genuine dialogue around truth and identity.

Ancestral Knowledge

Preserving and applying ancient wisdom to present-day challenges — a complete human experience through historical and cultural grounding.

Third Eye Development

Bringing greater awareness to the five senses, including developing the third eye, as a pathway to critical consciousness and spiritual clarity.
