Braga Website on MacBook
As a resident of Braga, I undertook this redesign project with both professional interest and personal connection. Braga is a unique Portuguese city where 2000 years of history harmoniously blends with cutting-edge technology and innovation. This duality—being both the "Rome of Portugal" and a hub for nanotechnology and digital entrepreneurship—wasn't adequately reflected in the city's digital presence.
This project reimagines the official Braga municipality website as a digital gateway that truly captures the city's essence. The redesign focuses on creating a more intuitive, visually appealing platform that serves both residents and visitors while showcasing Braga's rich heritage and forward-thinking initiatives.

Challenge:

The official website of Braga municipality needed modernization to better showcase the city's blend of rich heritage and innovation. The previous design failed to effectively communicate Braga's unique positioning as a historical city embracing technological advancement and cultural dynamism.

Solution:

Created a comprehensive redesign that balances tradition with modernity, highlighting Braga's 2000-year history while emphasizing its development as a hub for innovation, education, and quality of life.
